STILLWATER – The Cow-Calf Corner weekly newsletter published by Oklahoma State University Extension beef management and livestock marketing specialists is celebrating 20 years with nearly 1,600 subscribers worldwide.

Merritt High School’s overall performance indicator for the 22-23 school year came in at 69 percent, while the state came in at 55 percent. The report card serves as an indicator of how the students are doing in a variety of areas. Those areas include academic achievement, graduation, chronic absenteeism, and postsecondary opportunities. MHS had no reportable data in the area of English language proficiency progress.

Reports went out on January 10 for a BOLO – or Be on the Lookout – for a suspect who had allegedly stolen vehicles and committed armed robbery at Love’s Convenience Store in Erick.

Elk City, OK: Great Plains Regional Medical Center’s first baby of 2024 was born January 5th to proud parents Candra Davis and Nathan Rose. Taylyn Faye arrived weighing 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 21 inches long. Taylyn is welcomed home by her siblings Tatum, Tyson, Kelsey, Dillon, and Aspen.

The alleged victim had been taken to Great Plains Regional Medical Center for treatment.

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Today, the State of Oklahoma received its first three made-in-Oklahoma electric vehicles from Canoo as an innovative part of the state’s ongoing fleet modernization initiative. At a combined cost of $119,850, these three Lifestyle Delivery Vehicles (LDVs) are the first of their kind in the state fleet, with one each assigned to the Office of Management and Enterprise Services, the Department of Transportation and the Department of Corrections.

Elk City mother Courtney (Levitt) LeGrand has lived in the community her entire life. Her parents Cindy and Morgan were both well known in the community.
