Devon Thunder Explorers Open for Registration
OKLAHOMA CITY, Wednesday, August 21, 2024 – For the 10th year, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in partnership with Devon Energy, is adding Thunder spirit to science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) education in Oklahoma classrooms and providing an opportunity for teachers to win $500 for their classroom.
Devon Thunder Explorers offers teachers monthly, basketball-themed activities that engage fourth through sixth-grade students, challenge them to think outside the box and develop problem-solving skills through STEM principles.
Once a teachers registers for the program, they can submit photos showing the students participating in the activities to be eligible to win. Each month, October through April, four participating teachers will be selected to win $500 for their classrooms.
