The Merritt High School Oilerettes played before a packed stadium at the famous “Big House” in Oklahoma City over the weekend in the Oklahoma State 2A State Tournament. The Merritt ladies were joined by the Merritt Oilers in the boys’ bracket, being the only unseated team to make it to the state games. SPARTA, Illinois–Dason Harman of Elk City, OK has been selected to the 2024 Sub-Junior (under the age of 15) All-American trapshooting second team, according to the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), which determines the teams.
