There were no games to report on soccer, as many of the kids took off for spring break. The next game for Coach Xenos and Coach Stamm’s teams will be Tuesday, March 26 at home against Weatherford. This will be a district game, so it becomes more important. Both girls and boys have a perfect record of 3-0, but, no matter what Weatherford record is, being a district game it becomes a tough game, and certainly one good game to watch. Bring some food and drinks so you can stay for both games. Girls play at 5:30 and boys at 7:30. Any predictions? 03/22/2024 11:00 PM

Oklahoma Thunder is on top of the Western Conference by a mere ½ game over Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets. All three teams have 47 wins, however, Oklahoma has 20 losses versus 21 for Timberwolves and Nuggets. LA Clippers is five games behind. Season ends mid April and playoffs will start on April 20. Long way to go, but Oklahoma Thunder should make the playoffs. Hopefully, winning the West Conference. 03/22/2024 11:00 PM

The Red Carpet Community Theatre has welcomed Benjamin Dobbs to the stage numerous times over the past few years. He began his acting career 17 years ago on the Southwest Playhouse stage in Clinton. The Merritt High School Oilerettes played before a packed stadium at the famous “Big House” in Oklahoma City over the weekend in the Oklahoma State 2A State Tournament. The Merritt ladies were joined by the Merritt Oilers in the boys’ bracket, being the only unseated team to make it to the state games.
