A 48-year-old Canute man has been charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia.
The investigation began at approximately 1:40 am on October 25 when the Elk City Police were patrolling through a local store parking lot.
The officers reportedly observed a car parked in the alley and engaged the two passengers.
The drive was identified as Jeffrey Connor Harris.
Harris and his passenger both reportedly stated that they were from Canute.
The officer reportedly saw aluminum foil, which the officer said that Harris was attempting to conceal.
The officer wrote that he knew this to be a way that drugs can be ingested.
The officer reportedly found ten fentanyl pills and methamphetamine.
