Merritt Shock claimed a 10-5 victory on Sunday, despite a big push by Dirty birds in the first inning. Dirty birds’s big inning was driven by a single by Weston and a double by Bryton.

Over the weekend, the Elk City Elkettes 12u softball team showed their prowess in four dominating performances at the OK Kids State Championship Tournament.

Elk City Crushers 12u Skippers Jorey Price, Ted Briscoe, and Adrian Ruiz had a crushing weekend at the OK Kids Regional Tournament in Sallisaw.

CHICAGO – In its 38th year of honoring the nation’s best high school athletes, Gatorade today announced Kash Mayfield of Elk City High School is the 2022-23 Gatorade Oklahoma Baseball Player of the Year. Mayfield is the first Gatorade Oklahoma Baseball Player of the Year to be chosen from Elk City High School.

Elk City Mudcats Post 181 18O fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 15-7 loss to Texoma Baseball on Friday. Texoma Baseball took the lead on a double in the first inning.
