The Air Evac helicopter will make a special appearance next Sunday during the WOALS League Championship games.
The EC Heat Wave will first square off against the Buffalos to decide 3rd and 4th place.
Then the Espartanos and Quiche will battle each other for the championship.
“Here is our last weekend for the year for Adult Soccer for 2023. Don’t forget the helicopter (weather permitting) will deliver the championship game ball at 3:25pm. You can stand on the walkway behind the nets on the East side of the field, but you will need to help keep the kids behind the safety area. This is also Veteran’s Day Weekend, so be sure to thank a Veteran for their service. TROPHIES will be awarded after the championship match. The winner of the championship match will have their team registration fees waived next season. ($250) if that team comes back in the Spring 2024 season. It has been a great season, and we can only improve for next season,” the league coordinator said.
