Poarch Cemetery Inc. will hold it’s annual business meeting and election of offi cers on Sunday afternoon July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. The meeting place will be the Carter Community Center in Carter Oklahoma. All lot and plot owners at Poarch Cemetery are encourage to attend.
Pauline Ringer, Elk City, announced her book “For the Love of Teddy” will be on sale at the Carnegie Library for $27. The book is geared to children four to seven years of age. She uses real teddy bears to represent her family life growing up in Minnesota. She takes virtues based on the premise of James 1:17 to flow throughout the book.

A 30-year-old Elk City woman, Samantha Forsberg, has been released from the Beckham County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
