Southwestern Oklahoma State University Police Department (SWOSU PD) has announced a partnership with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics (OBN) to promote public safety and wellness through a new initiative aimed at reducing drug overdoses.

Stafford Air and Space Museum announced it will join museums nationwide in the Blue Star Museums initiative, a program that provides free admission to currently serving U.S. military personnel and their families this summer. The 2023 program will begin on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 20, 2023, and end on Labor Day, Monday, September 4, 2023. Find the list of participating museums at arts.gov/bluestarmuseums.

On Thursday, April 27th, 2023, a joint training operation involving WTC-Sayre, Beckham County Sheriff’s Offi ce, Sayre Police Department and Sinor Emergency Medical Services took place at the Bobcat Creek RV and Convenience Store on Highway 66 in Sayre, Oklahoma.
