Summer Reading has come and gone here at Sayre Public Library.

We had an absolute blast this year learning about kindness and how we can make a difference in the world. We had a mini art show and painted kindness rocks.

Andrea Weygand was here to help and read to the kids. We had the amazing Eileen Hobbs of Norman, author of the Heath Cousins series and Under the Golden Rain Tree. She generously donated the series as well her latest book to the library.

The kids absolutely loved her books and the gemstone necklaces she made for them. We are so very thankful for these ladies coming and donating their time and resources.

We closed out Summer Reading with a pizza party and tons of fun in the sun! We hope everyone had a great time with us this year.

The fun isn't over here at the library though! July is jam packed with tons of things to do!

We're celebrating Shark Week July 11-14. Each day at 3pm we'll be reading, doing crafts, learning shark facts, and playing games!

Then on July 27th we're taking it back to Jim Keith's coaching days. We'll be showing Believe in Me at 3pm then Billie Cook and other Sayre basketball ladies will be here to tell their amazing story!

You won't want to miss this free family friendly event! Then we close out the month with Lego Club.

So be sure to come in where it's nice and cool and adventure awaits!
