Berlin Community Building will host the annual fundraiser dinner on June 8, 2024, at 6:00 pm. The monies raised will be used for the upkeep of the building and to continue the monthly dinners. As money is available, building improvements are completed. Willa Mae Ditmore was born December 10, 1922 to Maude Huls in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She passed on May 19, 2024 in Elk City, OK at the age of 101 years, 5 months, and 9 days. Willa grew up in Clinton, OK attending and graduating in the Clinton public schools. She married to HC (Shady) Ditmore in 1942 and to this union four children were born Carl, Judy Ann, John, and David. Willa worked for Swift Trucking after high school as their secretary in Clinton. After Swift trucking she worked as the accountant for Clinton Sherman Air Force base. Finally she processed loans for Farmer Home Administration (FMHA) in Sayre, OK.
