Arnett fails to score as Canute runs up 12
On Monday, the Canute Trojans’ high school baseball team hosted the Arnett Wildcats.
Jake Beutler got the Canute scoring bonanza going with a third inning single that brought in two runners.
The fourth inning was especially fruitful for the Canute boys, scoring ten runs in an amazing rally.
Clay Randall sparked it with a single that scored two runs. The Trojans then capitalized on a Wildcat error that brought in two more.
Nate Bryant and Luke Spitz both contributed singles that scored two runs each.
Beutler also was the star at the pitcher’s mound with no hits for two innings, five strikeouts and zero runs or walks.
