The Elk City High School Girls Powerlifting team made history again last week. The group had already done that in their inaugural season as the first girls team in the sport for Elk City High School.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Western Oklahoma will have their first annual winter event “Boots & Bling Gala” on Saturday, Feb. 10, at 6:30 pm. at the Redlands Event Center, 608 Frisco in Clinton.

CASA of Western Oklahoma recruits and trains community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in juvenile court in Custer, Washita, Roger Mills, Beckham and Dewey Counties.
