WASHINGTON, DC - Senator James Lankford (R-OK) today issued a statement after the Senate voted to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act: “Our open southern border has allowed in millions of people from around the world. Without this authority, we cannot investigate if a foreign terror organization is preparing another attack on Americans from one of the many people already on US soil.

Guest speaker Ethan Fisher shared his story about the struggles he faced with bad choices that caused him to turn away from college basketball scholarships and eventually spending time in prison.

The Western Oklahoma Historical Society board of directors met for their regular monthly meeting Monday, April 22nd, at 11 a.m., in Elk City’s Western Technology Center. President Mike Blevins opened the meeting and followed with the invocation.
