Elk City man charged with strangulation

A 36-year-old Elk City man has been charged with domestic assault and battery by strangulation in the Beckham County District Court. The investigation began on April 9 when police were called to an Elk City home in reference to an alleged domestic assault and battery. The responding officer learned that the suspect, Kyle Cox, had left the scene.
