A 20-year-old Elk City man is being held on a $100,000 bond in the Woodward County Detention Center on two counts of rape and one count of lewd molestation.
The charges against Casey Ray Jones were filed in Woodward County District Court on April 19.
The investigation reportedly started on April 16 after Dewey County received a report of an alleged sexual assault against a minor.
The Woodward County law enforcement reportedly met with the alleged victim and the Dewey County sheriff.
The alleged victim and the suspect reportedly met at a baseball event in Elk City.
Jones allegedly admitted to these crimes and wrote a statement to support that.
Due to the alleged victim’s age, most details from the affidavit are being withheld.
