Police have now added new charges against a 34-year-old Elk City in relation to a string of thefts.
Bryan Lee Pfeil is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond after being charged with second-degree burglary, possession of a dangerous weapon with intent to break into any building, and malicious injury to property.
The second investigation began on July 6 when an alleged victim came to the Elk City Police Department to report a burglary.
The victim reportedly had two security cameras around his home, which police were then able to review. In the videos, officers reportedly recognized the suspect to be Pfeil. Pfeil had allegedly used a pry bar to enter the property.
During the execution of a search warrant at Pfeil’s reported home on July 20, police were allegedly able to recover items from the second reported burglary.
