From start to finish in Saturday’s match-up against the Irish, the Elk City Elkettes controlled the game.

On Monday night, the Sayre Lady Eagles squared off against the Fredrick Lady Bombers, but the only bombs getting dropped were by the Sayre offense.

ECHS Girls Wrestling

The Elk City Elkettes put a whooping on the Cache Bulldogs on Monday. The final score was 51-30.

The Merritt Oilerettes landed a solid victory on Tuesday night against the Hobart Bobcats. The final score was 66-26.

Sayre High School Head Coach Staci Wilson’s crew continued to improve for the season on Tuesday as they hooped past Lavern.

With an Elk City win over Newcastle, 60-29, Abby Brown led the strong Elkettes with 18 points.

The Elk City High School Girls Powerlifting team made history again last week. The group had already done that in their inaugural season as the first girls team in the sport for Elk City High School.
