Elk City High School Gets a C on the State’s Report Card

Elk City High School received an overall C grade in their 2223 Report Card. The State of Oklahoma earned 55 percent, while ECHS earned 47 percent overall. In the area of chronic absenteeism, they earned 3.06 points out of ten possible points. This brought them in at 73.05 percent compared to the state’s 70.96 percent. Chronic absenteeism refers to students who miss ten percent or more of the school year for any reason. This indicator could mean a student is at academic risk.

OHA Names GPRMC CEO As Sec/Treas To Board; Gebhart Chosen As Chair Elect

The Oklahoma Hospital Association installed a new board chair and elected new board members during its recent annual business meeting. Denise Webber, president & CEO, Stillwater Medical Center, was installed as 2024-25 chair of the OHA board of directors. Installing Webber were Tammy Powell, immediate past chair and president, SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Oklahoma City; and Rich Rasmussen, OHA president & CEO. Jim Gebhart, community president, Mercy Oklahoma, was elected to serve as chairelect of the OHA board. He will serve as the association’s board chair in 2026-27.
