Facilities work with their residents to provide activities and projects to keep residents involved and engaged with life. An important part of this is offering opportunities for activities and projects.

Audra graduated from SWOSU. She is a retired school teacher and she lives in Clinton, Oklahoma. She is married and she has two sons and four grandchildren.

Brandi (Pope) Thompson I attended SWOSU in Weatherford where I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. In 2007 I married Matt Thompson. We moved back to Sayre to my family farm where we started our family. Our daughter, Makenzie is a 14 year old 8th grader in Canute Public School. She is active in fast pitch softball, slow pitch softball, basketball, travel ball, FCA, and FFA. Our son, Maddox is a 12 year old 6th grader in Canute Public School. He is active in baseball, basketball, and travel ball. I taught in Sayre Public Schools for many years while my kids attended school in Sayre. We recently moved to Canute, Ok. where I’m currently teaching 2nd grade, chasing my kids around through all of their activities, and enjoying life!

Amaree Anderson is the son of Brigette Kilpatrick and Kelu Anderson. Amaree’s activities include going to Weatherford band camp for Trumpet. He plans to join some type of branch in the Service, most likely the Marines, then he plans to attend Klete School. His favorite memory from high school is when Mrs. Moran has then run around in circles with rock salt around the table and he tripped and spilled it all over the floor and when he was in Ag and Parker said watch this and threw a welding rod up and broke one of the lights.

Alumni Parade Marshal Announced

This year, our parade Marshal Duo for the 2024 Alumni celebration is Kent and Sandy Whinery. Kent graduated in Sayre in 1974 and begin his law practice in 1989. He is a former Sayre Mayor and is currently the City of Sayre Attorney. Sandy has taught school at Sayre Public Schools for 37 years and is currently retired, she is a proud survivor of cancer. Congrats Sandy!!!
