Rural Development Announces Half Million Dollar Investment to Support Producers in Oklahoma

STILLWATER, OKLA., Feb. 9, 2024 – U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Oklahoma State Director Kenneth Corn announced today that the Biden-Harris Administration is investing $533,000 to support the growth of three agriculture producers in Oklahoma expand business operations via the USDA Rural Development Value-Added Producer grant. The Value- Added Producer Grant program helps agricultural producers enter value-added activities to generate new products, create and expand marketing opportunities, and increase producer income.

The public is invited to Clinton, Oklahoma for Corn Bible Academy’s 60th annual German Feast and Auction on Saturday, April 6, 2024. This will be the second feast at the school’s new 40 acre campus in Clinton after operating in the town of Corn since 1903. The event will take place at 22387 E 1070 Road in Clinton from 10am until 2:30pm.

As prom approaches, the Elk City High School’ s Fashion Design class has been designing their own newspaper formal gowns under the direction of their teacher, Brycee Bonner. The class was randomly put into two different fashion teams to approach the project. They were given their instructions and then started the project.
