Easter is this coming Sunday, 4/9. The Annual Erick Chamber of Commerce Easter Egg Hunt will be begin at 1:00, this coming Saturday, 4/8, weather permitting, at the City Park for ages 0-12 years of age. The Alumni Committee would like to announce Mike Mathews, as the 2023 Alumni Parade Marshall. Mr. Mathews has taught at Sayre Public Schools for 35 years, teaching band from 5th graders to 12th graders, he retired in 2011, however he is still currently a member of the Sayre community after 43 years, and to this day he is still part of the Pride of Sayre Band, helping every day. He is the epitome of a wonderful teacher who truly cares about teaching students the “Art of Music”.
