Inspiring Adult Students at Ivory ‘N Ovations Piano Studio
Adult piano students of Ivory ’N Ovations Piano Studio performed their Christmas selections at the home of their teacher, Jerri Headrick on December 10 at 2 pm. Students performed several solo piano arrangements of Christmas favorites such as Morning, What Child is This, Do You Hear What I Hear, Merry Christmas Darling, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, and Canon in D. The students enjoyed refreshmentsandfellowshipafterwards. Thesestudentsaresuch an inspiration as they practice and take on the challenges that come with learning to play and continuing to learn an instrument. Most adult students take piano lessons for their own individual enjoyment and it is not always comfortable playing for a group, but these confi dent adults are willing to risk themselves and enjoy sharing what they have learned.
