The annual bazaar and turkey dinner put on by St. Matthew Catholic Church in Elk City, located at 3001 E. Highway 66 Access Road will take place Sunday, Nov. 5th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. There will be dine-in or carry-out options available. The dinner menu will consist of a complete turkey dinner with sides, salads, drink, and a dessert, and the cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children from four to 13-years-old, three-year-olds and younger eat free. Carry-out dinners will also be $12.
Along with the homemade dinner, there will be homemade baked goods for sale. This year the bazaar is going to offer a silent auction. Be sure to check out the options to bid on a plethora of goods while dining. Additionally, purchase a $1 raffle ticket to be one of three winners of a $100 gift certificate to Keith’s Butcher Shop, a $100 gift certificate to Friends Pub and Pizza, or a $100 gift certificate to Lupe’s Cocina and Cantina. There will be four winners to receive a $100 cash Visa gift card, and there will be two winners of a quilt or an Afghan.
This annual event is to support the many charities of the church, and it is an opportunity to get a great Sunday dinner. Where else would be a better place to eat on a Sunday afternoon and donate to a wonderful cause? Support St. Matthew’s charitable work in the community and around the world.
