A 59-year-old Elk City woman has been released on a $2,500 bond after being charged with second-degree burglary and possession of stolen property.

At approximately 1:40 pm on October 11, an Elk City Police Department officer was dispatched to Big Elk Auto in regard to a female subject who had allegedly stolen several keys and was still on the property.

Upon arrival at the scene, the officer reportedly observed Kimberly Ann Neal standing outside the building.

“I am familiar with Neal and have had several dealings with her going to businesses and causing issues,” the officer wrote.

The business owner reportedly stated that Neal came into the business and handed him a red bag containing four sets of vehicle keys, a hat, and other miscellaneous items.

Neal allegedly said she got the items from SB Exotics.

Neal was placed in hand restraints and transported to the Elk City Police Department.

The officer returned to Elk City Auto the following day.

The owner was unavailable.

The officer then went to SB Exotics and spoke with one of the employees, who allegedly advised that the keys that Neal would have allegedly stolen, would have been behind the south desk.

The officer observed that the area is not easily accessible to the public. The employee had allegedly spoken with Neal in the parking lot of SB Exotics.

Neal had allegedly said she wanted to buy several vehicles.

Neal is due back in court on November 27.
