A 59-year-old Tulsa man is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center after being charged with possession of contraband.
At approximately 5:20 pm on October 5, a Beckham County Sheriff’s Office deputy learned that the detention deputies needed to speak with him.
The deputy was shown a clear, sealed personal property bag that allegedly contained a small, pink baggie containing a white crystal-like substance.
A detention deputy had allegedly located this on an inmate during a “strip out.”
Marion Randolph Frye had reportedly been brought in earlier that day. The report does not indicate why Frye had been arrested.
The substance allegedly field-tested positive for fentanyl.
Frye’s bond is $7,500.
