Oklahoma City man held on child abduction charges in the Beckham County Detention Center

A 30-year-old Oklahoma City man is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond after being charge with child abduction, child neglect, and failure to use a child passenger restraint.

A 30-year-old Oklahoma City man is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond after being charge with child abduction, child neglect, and failure to use a child passenger restraint.

At approximately 12:36 pm on September 15, the Beckham County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Wheeler County Sheriff’s Office advising that an alleged kidnapping had reportedly occurred there.

The suspect was reportedly Davian Ramona Baker.

Baker had allegedly kidnapped his one-yearold child and was believed to be heading to Elk City.

The BCSO was reportedly able to contact Baker’s cell phone carrier and have his phone pinged.

Through that, deputies and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers were able to zero in on Baker’s location.

At approximately 1:56 pm, Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning reportedly located Baker.

The child was taken safely into custody.
