Erick woman charged with arson, assault, and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting an officer, and two counts of domestic abuse

A 27-year-old Erick woman is being held on a $50,000 bond in the Beckham County Detention Center after being charged with arson, assault, and battery with a dangerous weapon, resisting an officer, and two counts of domestic abuse.

The Beckham County Sheriff ’s Office was the responding law enforcement agency to investigate the call, which came in on September 13.

The deputies allegedly learned that Michaela Stirling had reportedly stabbed an alleged victim in the arm with a fork.

Stirling then allegedly threatened to “burn the trailer.”

Deputies arrived on the

scene.

Stirling reportedly responded, “old news,” when asked if she had stabbed someone with a fork.

Deputies also allegedly found smoke in the trailer but reportedly couldn’t find the source.

She also allegedly pulled away from deputies when they attempted to take her into custody.

Erick Police Chief Wes Henry also arrived on the scene to assist, as did the Erick Fire Department.

Stirling also allegedly bit another victim.

These alleged crimes reportedly occurred over a week.
