Foss: September 18. Elevation is 0.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 75°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) Striped bass hybrids fair on live bait. Walleye slow on worms. Crappie fair. Catfish good on cut bait. Report submitted by Eric Puyear, B & K Bait House.
SOUTHEAST Blue River: September 19. Elevation is normal and stable, water temperature 76°F and clear. (USGS Lake Level) Largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass good on crankbaits, spinnerbaits, topwater lures, and tube jigs around brush structure, channels, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and standing timber. Bluegill, green, and redear sunfish fair on crickets, grasshoppers, in-line spinnerbaits, and worms around brush structure, rocks, shallows, shorelines, and weed beds. SOUTHWEST Ellsworth: September 17. Elevation is 2 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 88°F and murky. ( USGS Lake Level) Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, punch bait, and shad around flats, main lake, and points. Lawtonka: September 17. Elevation is 2.5 ft. below normal and stable, water temperature 89°F and clear. (USACE Lake Level) White bass fair on jigs, minnows, small lures, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass hybrids, white bass, and saugeye good on crankbaits, lipless baits, and small lures around main lake, points, and rocks. Largemouth bass and crappie good on crankbaits, lipless baits, minnows, plastic baits, PowerBait, and small lures around brush structure, main lake, rocks, and weed beds. Blue and channel catfish fair on chicken liver, cut bait, minnows, stinkbait, and worms around channels, creek channels, main lake, and rocks.
