Man released after being charged in fentanyl case

A 31-year-old Carter man has been released from the Beckham County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of a synthetic controlled substance, and trafficking illegal drugs.

A 31-year-old Carter man has been released from the Beckham County Detention Center on a $250,000 bond after being charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, distribution of a synthetic controlled substance, and trafficking illegal drugs.

The investigation began on September 8 at approximately 2:30 pm when a Beckham County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to North 1220 Road in Carter in reference to possible drugs found in a home.

Earlier that same day, Beckham County Sheriff Derek Manning and two of his deputies had taken Zachery Breeze into custody at the same residence.

During a search, multiple pipes were allegedly found. Also allegedly found was six grams of reported fentanyl.
