Next Block Party and Educator Day Coming Downtown

There are only two Block Parties left this season. The next one will take place Saturday, Sept. 9th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. downtown at “The Block,” located in the parking lot behind the chamber. The Elk City Chamber of Commerce event will be hosting the band, 9 Mile Hill, who will be performing for the first time.

Put Sept. 9th on the calendar to see the live music, get a bite from local food trucks, and shop with the area vendors.

Sept. 23rd has been set aside as Educator Day in the downtown district. This is a day to thank educators for all they do. This day is for teachers and support staff, who will receive discounts at participating stores. This event will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and sponsored by the chamber and 580 Threads.
