A 43-year-old Sayre man is wanted for arrest after being charged with felony assault and battery.
If convicted, Anthony Charles McGruder faces up to four years in prison, a $5,000 fine, or both.
McGruder is accused of allegedly striking the alleged victim with a BB pistol.
The investigation began on July 20 at 4:36 pm, when the Beckham County Sheriff’s Offi ce and the Sayre Police Department received a request for assistance.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol also assisted.
The alleged victim was assisted in collecting her personal items.
The Elk City Police were able to take photographs on July 27 of injuries allegedly caused by McGruder.
