Welcome Letter

Parents and Students, Welcome to the start of the 2023-2024 School year. Classes will start on Thursday, August 17, with enrollment on August 10th and 11th. This year we welcome many new members of staff. Ms. Bailey Crosby will be teaching computer science, yearbook, and cheer.

Ms. Tina Clayton will be taking the Girls Basketball program and teaching History. Mr. Tony Pierce will be teaching JH/HS math and Ms. Donna Drinnon will be teaching JH/HS English. We have also added three new aides to our building. Hayle Crauthers will be our Special Ed aide, Kylie Hanson will be our Library aide, and Heidi Reimer will be the Alt. Ed. Aide. We welcome them to our school family and wish them all the best.

We also have many upgrades from last year’s bond issue, all of our classrooms have new flooring, the cafeteria has new flooring as well as some other new additions, the East doors have been replaced, and the Science Lab has been completely renovated with new lab tables, fume hood, and also repainted walls. We are so thankful for the support that our community is always willing to give. The upgrades not only improve the appearance of our school but will also increase our security and provide the students with a better classroom environment and more modern equipment. In addition to the bond projects, the students will also be using new Chrome books to replace the ones that were becoming obsolete.

The staff and I are looking forward to another successful year.

It’s always a great day to be a Bearcat!

Mr. Brian Collins Principal Erick Jr. High & High School
