On a Mission - to be in pursuit of some specific ambition, especially that which is of particular importance, significance, or seriousness.
Thursday, August 17th, marks the start of a new mission for everyone at Sayre Schools!
As the summer draws to a close and the excitement of a new school year comes into focus, I am thrilled to welcome the students, staff, and parents of Sayre Schools. On August 17th, we begin a journey fueled by a shared purpose that will lead to new heights of knowledge, growth, and achievement.
This year, we embrace the theme of On a Mission, signifying our collective dedication to pursuing ambitious goals, making a meaningful impact, and nurturing an environment of learning and excellence.
Together, we will explore our potential while fostering innovation and resilience. As we start the new year, remember that every individual within our community has a critical role. From our outstanding educators, who inspire curiosity, to the students who eagerly pursue learning and growth, and the parents who support from home - we are unified in our mission. Throughout the school year, we will celebrate achievements, embrace challenges, and grow together as a family.
Together, we take on the mission that the new year brings, and together, we will soar to new heights of success! Welcome back, Eagle Family!
Students will notice a few facility upgrades when arriving on campus to begin the school year.
Th is summer, the band/ choir classrooms, offices, and restrooms have been transformed with new lighting, flooring, paint, fixtures, and acoustic panels to improve sound quality. The track project is nearing completion on the east end of campus. Student-athletes will now practice and compete in a state-of-theart facility for the foreseeable future. The district-wide LED lighting conversion should be complete before the first day of school. Lighting is noticeably improved in the classrooms and hallways. The results of the upgrades are sure to please and will serve students well for years to come.
