County Fair Start Thursday, Sept. 7th.

The Beckham County fair will be begin Thursday, September 7th entering the front building exhibits from 4-7pm. Entries will also be taken on Friday September 8th from 9-11am with judging beginning at 1pm. The exhibit part of the building will be closed during judging and will reopen at 4pm.

All Livestock entry cards and weigh-in’s are due by Friday, Sept. 8th at 6pm.

Saturday, Sept. 9th, will include a full day of activities. The swine show will begin at 8:00am followed by the Money Scramble sponsored by the Bank of Western Oklahoma for the following age groups: 2-3 year olds, 4-5 year olds, and 6-7 year olds. Next, will be the sheep show, goat show, judging of poultry and chickens, and the beef cattle show.

A Pet Parade for 6th graders and below will begin at 2:30pm. All participants will receive a prize. This event is sponsored by the Oklahoma Home & Community Education Association (OHCE) of Beckham County.

Exhibits can be picked up Saturday, Sept. 9th from 3-4pm. Fair books can be picked up at the City Hall in Elk City (320 W 3rd Street) and at the OSU Extension Office, 301 E Main, Sayre. A digital copy is available on the Beckham County Ag Facebook page and the Beckham County 4-H Page. You can also pick up entry tags at the OSU Extension Office so that you can get a jump start filling out your entry tags.
