Erick Ramblings

Just a reminder for this upcoming weekend; the City of Erick has approved the use of the old football field this Saturday, August 5th, for a Flea & Farmer’s Market so you can gather and sell your items that you make, garden goodies, baked goods etc., or just your unwanted things that might be someone else’s treasures.

The 2024 Senior Class will be selling Colorado peaches, pears, and honey from Cunningham Orchards in Palisade, CO, as a fundraiser for their senior trip. The order deadline is 8/11. Money is due at the time of order placement. Delivery will be on Saturday, 8/27. Boxes of peaches sell for $50.00; a box of pears will be $35.00; and a jar of honey is $15.00. They are not offering half boxes at this time.

Keep your calendars open on September 29th-October 1st, as Erick is planning a “Purple People Eater Fest”, with a pancake breakfast planned, a street dance, plus a three day market for vendors to display and sell their items. Vendors are needed, so please contact Megan at Erick City Hall at 580-526-3924 for all of the details. More information will follow closer to the event timeframe.
