A 35-year-old Sayre man is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center after being charged with a felony complaint of assault and battery upon a police officer.
Christopher Adam Sides was reportedly being held in the Beckham County Detention Center when he allegedly assault a BCSO detention sergeant.
A BCSO deputy received an incident report on the alleged event on July 23.
The detention sergeant had reportedly instructed Sides to grab his meal trays and bring them with him so the cell does not smell like stale food.
Sides allegedly threw the trays at the detention sergeant. The sergeant was reportedly struck.
The sergeant then reportedly pulled is OC spray, and ordered Sides to the ground.
