Simpson’s Walk-off Picture Perfect Ending In Canute Varsity Trojan’s Victory

It came down to the wire on Tuesday, with Canute Varsity Trojan taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Binger-Oney Binger-Oney Bobcats Varsity Varsity. The game was tied at two with Canute Varsity Trojan batting in the bottom of the seventh when Brance Simpson singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Canute Varsity Trojan pitchers struck out four, while Binger-Oney Binger- Oney Bobcats Varsity Varsity pitchers sat down five.

Canute Varsity Trojan got things started in the second inning when Clay Randall drew a walk, scoring one run.

Canute Varsity Trojan knotted the game up at two in the bottom of the fifth inning, when Trayton Hines singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Randall led things off on the pitcher’s mound for Canute Varsity Trojan. Randall surrendered zero runs on one hit over four innings, striking out one and walking one.

J Mendoza started the game for Binger-Oney Binger- Oney Bobcats Varsity Varsity. The hurler allowed zero hits and one run over four innings, striking out four. V Elizondo and B Raines entered the game from the bullpen, throwing one and one-third innings and one inning respectively.

Hines, Nate Bryant, and Simpson each collected one hit to lead Canute Varsity Trojan.
