Bailey Seymour was selected as this year’s district winner as the Washita Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also the Good Citizen of Sayre High School.

The DAR Good Citizen program and scholarship contest was established to encourage and reward the good qualities of a good citizen. The program is open to high school seniors. The entry includes grades, community service, letters of recommendation, and an essay. One student from each high school will be chosen as the Washita DAR winner and their application will be sent to the district contest.

Bailey was first out of 12 schools in the area and her application will go on to the state level! Sayre High School is super proud of Bailey Seymour and her accomplishments.
