Gary and Brenda Quinn of Sayre were to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 29th, but plans were delayed because Gary had to have open heart surgery. They are planning a trip later in the fall to honor their commitment to each other and celebrate the milestone anniversary.
Gary has worked for Northfork Electric Cooperative before retiring in 2015, while Brenda spent 33 years in the classroom as an educator at Sweetwater Public Schools. They have two children. Their daughter Stacy and her husband Glen Robertson live in Choctaw with their son Taylor. Their other son, Nathanael and his daughters Paiton, Hadie, and Teagan live in Sayre.
