In last week’s edition of the Beckham County Record, we reported upon the arrest of Robert Shaun Leitz.
The headline incorrectly identified Leitz as a former Elk City Police officer.
Although Leitz had previously been employed as a law enforcement officer, he was never employed with the Elk City Police Department.
The mistake was made by this writer alone.
