Well this school year is a wrap! Let the summer fun begin! And, hurry and get over with because I am not a fan of summer and the heatthatcomeswithit! IsittoosoontosaythatIamreadyforfall? I am loving the rain we have had this past weekend though.
The City of Erick will be hosting a Vaccination/Registration Clinic on June 3rd, from 1:00-3:00 p.m., in the shop behind City Hall. The $20.00 fee includes the city tag and the rabies shot. Services are provided by Stockman’s Veterinarian Hospital. There will be other services and medications offered but charges will be extra.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Lia Spears. Services will be held on Wednesday, 5/17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Lighthouse Church in Mangum, with burial in Erick following the service.
Sympathy is also extended to the family of Willie Mae (Gipson) Sappington-Burrows, of Amarillo. She was a member of eth Texola Class of 1956. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Happy Anniversary wishes go out to Paul & Kristi Bianchi and Doug & Linda Brookshire, with both couples celebrating on 5/19; and to Ace & Cathy Alexander on 5/23.
