The Farm and Ranch Dust Bowl Days Committee announces 2025 Wild Plum Jam line-up

Local red dirt talent to team up with industry leaders for night of live music in July

Last weekend, the social media pages of countless Beckham County residents were flooded with pictures of themselves dancing and singing to the legends of the Oklahoma red dirt scene.

Organizers of the annual Dust Bowl Days and Wild Plum Jam in Sayre are hopeful to see the same frenzied joy erupt here this summer after some of those same artists perform in Sayre’s Municipal Park.

Back in October, Cody Canada and the other original members of Cross Canadian Ragweed — Grady Cross, Jeremy Plato and Randy Ragsdale — “broke the internet” after announcing a reunion show in Stillwater.

Red dirt fans had long prayed for the day the iconic foursome would reunite after more than a decade apart.

The show had such overwhelming demand that the group ended up expanded it to a four-day extravaganza called “The Boys from Oklahoma.”

That moniker was more than a simple nod to one of the group’s biggest hits, but also referencing the other Oklahoma mega talents who joined the line-up.

Among them was Stoney LaRue, a red dirt legend in his own right.

LaRue is also alumni to Sayre’s Wild Plum Jam, having headlined in the past.

Of course, the Wild Plum Jam wouldn’t be complete without Beckham County’s favorite native son, Tyler Wilhelm, kicking the show off.

Born and raised in the true red dirt of Beckham County, Wilhelm is often joined on stage by his father and brother.

The event is scheduled for July 19.

As the group is still in the planning phase, more information will be released at later dates.
