What OKARR is Doing in Your Community As part of our long-term commitment to recovery- focused solutions, OKARR is actively working with local leaders, organizations, and stakeholders to ensure that opioid abatement funding and recovery programs are implemented effectively. Our role is to help coordinate efforts, navigate funding requirements, and provide strategic support to ensure your community gets the most out of available resources.
Some of the ways we’re supporting your efforts include: Expanding Recovery Services – Supporting the development of recovery housing, community resource centers, and peer support networks; Strengthening Workforce Pathways – Helping integrate recovery into economic development by connecting recovery housing to employment opportunities and business growth; Coordinating Systems of Care – Working with law enforcement, treatment providers, and recovery advocates to create cohesive diversion and intervention strategies; and Maximizing Opioid Abatement Funds – Ensuring that grant-funded initiatives are successfully implemented, tracked, and sustained for long-term impact.
