OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – State Superintendent Ryan Walters has announced the finalists for the 2025 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year, recognizing ten outstanding educators who exemplify excellence in the classroom.
“These exceptional teachers represent the very best of Oklahoma education,” said Superintendent Walters. “Their passion and commitment to student success set the standard for educators across our state. I am honored to celebrate their achievements and look forward to seeing the impact they continue to make in their schools and communities.”
The finalists were first selected as Teachers of the Year at their respective schools before advancing through a district-level nomination process. They will now be evaluated by a panel of Oklahomans, who will determine the winner of the prestigious statewide honor. The Oklahoma Teacher of the Year will be announced at the In- spireOK event in July, where the winner will be recognized for their contributions to education and their role in shaping the future of Oklahoma’s students.
