Lincoln New Age reschedules Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. walk to Feb. 22
Most years, Elk City’s Lincoln New Age organizes an annual walk in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
However, this year the walk was postponed due to inclement weather.
The yearly walk has been rescheduled to February 22 at 11 am. It will begin at Walgreens in Elk City. The walk will then move toward LNA’s building in the Lincoln Addition.
From there, attendees will drive to Grace Temple.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
The group will also discuss Black History.
