Murder 2 suspect held on million-dollar bond

A 36-year-old man wanted for second-degree murder, distribution of controlled substances (fentanyl), tampering with a security camera and destroying evidence was taken into custody in Roger Mills County this week after the Elk City Police Department asked for the public’s help. The investigation began in April, 2024, into an overdose death that was allegedly the result of the suspect’s drug dealing.

On the ECPD Facebook page, they wrote:

• UPDATE: 1:07pm. Guadelupe Sanchez III has been arrested in Roger Mills County. Thank you to Roger Mills and Washita County Sheriff’s Office for working with us on locating the subject quickly.

Attention: Community Alert The Elk City Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is seeking assistance from the public in locating an individual that has an active Felony Warrant for 2nd Degree Murder.
