The Elk City Elks Boys Golf team continued their march to State last week with a firstplace win at Regionals.
The Regionals Meet was held in Kingfisher on Monday, May 1.
Mason Schmidt came in first, and Nathan Womack came in second in the individuals category.
ECHS shot a 298 in the first 18 holes in the first round.
Mason Schmidt led the team with a 64. Nathan Womack came in with 74 points. Rounding out the Elks were Tristan Dunn with a 75, Brayden Duncan with an 85, and Keaton Twyman with an 86.
In the second round, the Big Elks totaled for 308.
Womack led the team with 68 points, followed by Schmidt with 76. Dunn had a 78, Duncan shot an 86, and Twyman scored an 88. The Elks with play in the State Champions Tournament this week in Weatherford.
