A 30-year-old Elk City man is being held in the Beckham County Detention Center on one count of second and subsequent domestic abuse and resisting arrest.
The investigation began on December 23 when Sayre Police were notified about an alleged domestic assault reportedly in progress.
Upon arrival, law enforcement reportedly observed a female who was allegedly bleeding.
The defendant, reportedly identifi ed as Kamron Harrison, had allegedly been asked to leave the Sayre residence prior to this. After police became involved, those officers reportedly found reason to believe that Kamron Harrison had committed domestic assault.
Police decided to take him into custody and charge him with these two counts.
At this point, Harrison reportedly resisted arrest.
