One big and bright new Christmas-in-the-Park decoration draws the eye.
According to Park Supervisors Jimmy Martinez and Scott Martin, Elk City’s Ackley Park features six new displays among this year’s Christmas ornamentation.
But the new Christmas tree near the Dream League baseball field in the center of the park stands out.
And up. The tree is 22 feet tall and has 6,000 lights. The nightly Christmas light display—featuring the new tree and 1 million other lights— can be enjoyed sundown to sunup every day through New Year’s Eve.
