A bond was not listed for a 21-year-old Indiana man being held in the Beckham County Detention Center for charges of endangering others while eluding police, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon and third-degree arson.
The investigation began on December 18 when the Beckham County Sheriff ’s Office received a call from the Beckham County Commissioner’s Office that a Ford Fusion was sitting on the side of the road near Texoma.
A deputy arrived on the scene and attempted an investigation stop.
The vehicle was repor tedly operating at the time and allegedly slowed to 50 miles per hour but would not stop.
A pursuit eventually followed that allegedly reached speeds of 100 mph.
This reportedly went into the town of Erick.
The vehicle allegedly didn’t slow during that time.
This reportedly went into speeds of 120 mph.
Deputies used Stop Sticks.
The suspect was identifi ed as Arthur James Mhoon, Jr.
